The Varta A7 is a 12V, 70Ah AGM battery from Varta’s Silver Dynamic range, designed for vehicles that require more from their electrical system than a conventional flooded battery is built to provide. This includes vehicles fitted with start-stop technology and regenerative braking, which are now standard across a large proportion of the European vehicle market.

If your vehicle was originally fitted with an AGM battery, it was specified that way for a reason. AGM construction handles repeated deep discharge cycles and rapid recharging significantly better than flooded lead-acid batteries, and fitting a lower-grade replacement typically results in reduced performance and a shortened service life.
